Historically, most indoor cycling videos were just guys and gals in a room on trainers with a coach barking out their interval orders.

However, even before DVDs were created, Virtual Riding was occasionally attempted to give the rider the view of the road. Earlier attempts used to be more like car paced videos from the travel channel, or videos of lots of cyclists padded shorts (rear ends) set to music no one would really listen to if they had a choice.

With Global Ride videos, all that has changed. Now virtual cycling has taken on more structure, and is suited for both individual workouts as well as group classes.

Between the commercial licensed music, the multiple coaching tracks and the BONUS section of Yoga, Pilates or Strength Training with Weights - Virtual Riding has never been the same.

Come Spin with us all over the world. One of the most unique features of Global Ride is our very own “Global Ride™ Videos business”. This is our version of cycling training videos. We shoot 1st person perspective videos of the road, at the cyclists pace, with occasional cuts to the scenery or the riders. We simulate the riders experience as closely as possible and then we add professional coaching to give it structure and purpose.

Now without leaving your new Spinning® bike or your bike on a trainer at home, you can cycle in some of the most beautiful places on earth. How about a trip through the wine country in Italy, or through the Canadian Rockies, or along the ocean in Hawaii? At Global Ride, we include these and other videos in many of our classes to enhance the experience and “transport” you... at least for 50 minutes... to places of beauty and challenge.
